John Benko

CEO

John Benko is the CEO of Attain Behavioral Health. John brings with him extensive experience in the behavioral health and mental health environment. John began his healthcare career after spending several years in sales, operations, and management of a variety of entities, as a registered nurse; practicing in neurology, ambulatory, informatics, home care/hospice, forensic medicine, and behavioral health. John has served as Director of Business Development, Director of Health Services, Director of Nursing, and CEO at various inpatient, outpatient, and commercial entities in the healthcare and behavioral health space. In addition to leading Attain Behavioral Health, John serves on the board of a few not-for-profit entities which primarily focus on access to education, housing, and health care. John is a member of the American Society of Addiction Medicine, the American Psychiatric Nurses Association, and the College of Healthcare Executives. John has three grown children and resides in Cleveland OH.

Dr. Riaz Rahman

Chief Medical Officer

Dr. Riaz Rahman serves as the Chief Medical Officer at Attain Behavioral Health. Dr. Rahman is licensed and Board Certified in both Internal Medicine and Psychiatry and is a nationally recognized expert in addiction treatment. Dr. Rahman has served as faculty, director and staff with 3 decades of practice in acute inpatient, outpatient and residential treatment.

Dave Teare

Director of Clinical Programing

Dave Teare is the Clinical Director for Attain Behavioral Health. Dave comes to Attain with nearly 25 years of experience in counseling and addiction services. Dave leads the clinical team in serving the entire Attain Behavioral Health population and continues to direct best practice and innovation for our treatment model. Dave has extensive experience practicing in virtually all aspects of behavioral health counseling, including trauma and PTSD, marriage and couples, families, depression and anxiety, addiction and recovery, and family of origin issues. He has worked with adolescents and adults in both individual and group settings. Dave has also worked in educational settings as a college adjunct instructor, and he has provided many community presentations and training seminars on a variety of mental health topics. Dave lives in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio and enjoys playing the piano, reading, and nature photography.

Maj-Britt Stevens

Executive Director

Maj-Britt Stevens presently serves as the Executive Director of ABH – Toledo. Britt holds a Master of Nursing degree. Britt brings a wealth of experience having practiced in mental health and addiction services for nearly three decades, serving as Director of Nursing, Program Director, Nursing Supervisor, Patient Care Director, and House Supervisor. Britt began her career as a nursing assistant matriculating to LPN then RN and on to her master’s work and leadership roles. Britt is a longtime Toledo resident and lives in the area with her family.
